Would you walk the line? Take a walk on the wild side?

After the tremendous success of our 2022 Concert, singing students* and workshop participants from Charlotte Hillman’s Middleton and Aldinga Studios return to the Murray Delta Juke Joint in Goolwa on Saturday 9 December 2023. Singing pop, rock and musical theatre with piano and backing track accompaniment, students from 12-80 years old will take a leap of faith and dive headlong into your arms. Yes you: Family, friends and community members who are passionate about supporting the arts expressing itself from the heart of our community.
*Student involvement in concerts is optional and there will be less challenging alternatives on offer, such as joining our audience!

TEACHING APPROACH

I accept beginner through to advanced students and work collaboratively to create an environment in which students feel encouraged and supported.  This fosters student confidence to explore and express their true voice and realise vocal potential.

My approach to working with the voice is grounded in classical technique. I teach students how to use and extend their whole  range in a way that is vocally safe and sustainable.

To support students to reach their personal and professional goals, lessons may include any of the following:
Vocal technique (for beginners this may start with how to sing in tune)
Vocal coaching (expression and song interpretation)
Performance skills
Developing self-confidence  with self-expression, singing and public speaking

Musical Styles: Contemporary / Folk / Jazz / Blues / Country / Classical
Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced
Age: 10 years old and up

“When the Young Presidents’ Organization (www.ypo.org) needed someone resourceful, creative, and completely dependable to take their CEO's on a personal journey, Charlotte handled them with charm, firmness and humour. I was amazed at how our group of highly successful A type leaders cooperated under her leadership to step outside their comfort zones."
