THERAPEUTIC APPROACHIn my personal and professional life, I understand what it is to feel vulnerable and fragile. I have lived and worked through times when life gets hard, feels unbearable, and it seems impossible to keep going. I have also experienced profound moments of healing and reconnecting with hope.
In 2015 my interest in human services guided me to study a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. This followed my degree in teaching and many years working as a singing teacher and workshop facilitator in private practice, educational and corporate settings. As a Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I offer counselling in a safe, non-judgemental space. My work is person-centred and trauma-informed. I am governed by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia’s Code of Ethics. The integration of evidence-based psychological approaches with complementary therapies like Somatic (body-based) work, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural and Expressive Therapies creates a unique process for healing; for each individual to become more resourceful, resilient and confident.
